Get away to NORTHERN SOLSTICE ALPACA FARM and the ALPACA DREAM ESCAPE SUITE.
We offer a private, second floor, comfortable, peaceful, fully furnished 3-room, double bath suite with a view of alpacas from every room. Make yourself at home during your stay in the lovely queen-sized bedroom, the cozy television room with double recliner sofa and warm décor, the country-quilted office and kitchenette with table and chairs, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and wireless internet, the ‘curl-up with a good book’ reading area with skylight - complete with a fully stocked bookcase; and a private double bathroom with twin sinks, tub and shower.
During your stay you are welcome to participate as a farm hand working with the alpacas, or you may prefer to sit under the awning in the rocking chairs enjoying the peace and serenity of the alpacas grazing in their own environment. The choice is yours. If alpacas are in your dreams for the future, set up time with the farm owners who are ready, willing and experienced to share their knowledge of alpaca owning, farming, breeding and showing. Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm is centrally located – close to the coast of Maine, just 22 miles from Belfast and just another short jump to Rockland or Camden. We’re 35 miles from the Bangor shopping area and 25 miles from Waterville.
Unity is home to the Unity Theatre of Performing Arts with concerts taking place on a regular basis.
See our website for links. The Northern Solstice Alpaca Dream Escape is a non-smoking facility and farm. We are not equipped for young children and for those with allergies, we do have cats on the premises. Our suite is on the second floor and at this time, is not wheelchair accessible. Our maximum is double occupancy.
We offer seasonal rates and multi-night and holiday packages. Reservations are required and we will ask for your preference to work as a farm hand or just enjoy a restful visit.
